Today marks the 60th anniversary of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, assuming the reins of government in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi on August 6, 1966. A historical milestone that marked the beginning of our comprehensive development journey, laid the foundations for building the modern state, and paved the way towards the establishment of the union of our state, thanks to his wise leadership and inspiring vision that believed that building the human being is the basic foundation for building the nation and the basis for its progress and prosperity. We will continue to follow his path. Inspired by his vision, and continuing his path, generation after generation.
