From the Coffee Axis I tell you that we are not going to leave you alone. We face this painful tragedy with all the capacity of the State and with infinite gratitude towards the heroes who protect our people and towards the thousands of Colombians who have united in solidarity for the victims.
To bring peace of mind in difficult times, I have provided relief in the payment of public services for 3 months to affected families and the immediate granting of rental subsidies to those who lost their homes.
We are in mourning, but never defeated. May God strengthen us!

Afrontamos esta dolorosa tragedia con toda la capacidad del Estado y con gratitud infinita hacia los héroes que protegen a nuestra gente y hacia los miles de colombianos que se han unido con solidaridad por los damnificados. Para traer tranquilidad en momentos dificiles, he dispuesto el alivio en el pago de servicios públicos durante 3 meses a las familias afectadas y el otorgamiento inmediato de subsidios de arriendo a quienes perdieron sus viviendas.
