Nuevas soluciones habitacionales benefician a familias y comunidades de Concepción
The housing solutions benefit families from Yby Yaú, Sargento José Félix López and Arroyito, including indigenous communities and neighborhood organizations. The activity took place in Villa San Miguel and was part of the Government day headed by President Santiago Peña in Concepción, with interventions in early childhood, health, security, infrastructure, production and housing.
Homes for five communities and organizations
The 179 homes are distributed in five projects: 32 homes for the Ka'aguy Poty Rory Indigenous Community, of the Paĩ Tavyterã ethnic group, in Yby Yaú; 55 homes for the Takuarita Indigenous Community, in Sargento José Félix López; 30 homes for organized families from Colonia Virgen del Camino-Asentamiento Arroyito; 40 homes for the Paĩ Tavyterã Indigenous Community, in Yby Yaú; and 22 homes for the San Rafael Community of Colonia Herminio Mendoza, also in Yby Yaú.
The projects are developed through the National Social Housing Fund (FONAVIS) and with financing also channeled through the Itaipú Technology Park (PTI). Added to these solutions are 55 housing subsidies destined for the Villa San Miguel Development and Promotion Board, corresponding to works carried out by the Ministry of Urban Planning, Housing and Habitat (MUVH).
More housing solutions throughout the country
With these new deliveries, the Government reaches 33,620 homes delivered nationwide during the administration of President Santiago Peña and Vice President Pedro Alliana, as part of the housing policy aimed at expanding families' access to decent housing.
The advancement of housing solutions is integrated into a broader social policy that articulates housing, health, school feeding, early childhood care and infrastructure, with interventions that seek to respond to the specific needs of the population in different parts of the country.
