The Samarkand Regional Hokimiyat reported that the meeting centered on strengthening direct production partnership and launching joint initiatives in agriculture. The Hokim suggested increasing pedigree cattle imports from Belarus, boosting meat product supplies, and fostering collaboration in breeding and genetics.

Representatives from Chorva Sut Servis and Marokand MIT announced their willingness to invest in livestock complexes in Grodno region. They plan to share their experience and modern technologies with Uzbekistan. Belarusian Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Vitaly Kulak endorsed the Uzbek proposals, mentioning that cooperation with Uzbekistan in this sector is consistently growing.

The parties also discussed forming joint ventures for dairy production, localizing baby food manufacturing with Bellakt’s involvement, and increasing exports of dried fruits and nuts from Samarkand region to Belarus. They focused on Belarusian agricultural machinery supplies to Uzbekistan and arranging its servicing.

During the visit, the Hokim of Samarkand region met with Belinvestbank OJSC’s leadership and the Chairman of the Bellegprom Concern. They agreed to proceed with several joint projects.
