Approximately 800 young environmental activists from Russia, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are participating in the event.

The congress’s opening day featured a campaign to plant 35 trees to celebrate Uzbekistan’s 35th independence anniversary. This meaningful act emphasized the importance of instilling a responsible attitude towards nature in young people.

Subsequently, each delegation showcased their country’s distinctive traditions and cultural heritage.

Bakhtiyar Gulizade from the Azerbaijani delegation emphasized that environmental issues concern all nations and highlighted the crucial role of young people in tackling these problems. The collective efforts of congress participants help in developing effective solutions to environmental challenges.

The congress program features a variety of contests and competitions, including “Best Environmental Project” and “Eco-Intellect”, along with presentations, exhibitions, and environmental campaigns. The intellectual game “Zakovat” attracted significant interest from young participants.
