Grigory Nizovsky, Vice President for Russia, Eastern Europe andTürkiyeat Acer, informed about the company’s 50-year development history, current technological trends, and upcoming plans.

The company’s history started on August 1, 1976, in Taiwan, with an initial capital of $25,000. Originally named Multitech, it specialized in selling and developing microprocessor technology products and providing consulting services. In 1987, Multitech was renamed Acer.

Over the course of more than fifty years, the company has transformed from a startup focused on technology into a global group with operations in over 160 countries. Currently, it provides a wide range of technological solutions for consumers, enterprises, and the education sector. While expanding its product ecosystem, the company also explores new fields and commits to sustainable development principles. Acer’s mission is to eliminate barriers between people and technology, making innovation accessible to all. The group has approximately 12,000 employees worldwide.

During the presentation, it was noted that the company is expanding the use of artificial intelligence across devices and software solutions to make technologies more personalized and to broaden their application in everyday life.

It was highlighted that the company’s plans align with current technological development trends. Notably, areas such as intelligent devices, personalized education, innovative human-AI interaction, medical technologies, smart spaces, and sustainable development solutions are seen as promising.
