Salalah, Aug. 12 (SANA)Syria, represented by Minister of Administrative Development Mohammad Hassanal-Sakkaf, is participating in the 25th Annual General Conference on “Government Readiness for a Sustainable Future,” which opened Tuesday in Salalah,Oman.

The three-day conference is jointly organized by Oman’s Ministry of Labour and the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), an organization affiliated with the Arab League.

Syria’s Ministry of Administrative Development said on Telegram Wednesday that the conference brings together Arab ministers responsible for public administration and administrative development, along with officials, experts and specialists from several Arab countries.Discussions focus on key trends and experiences in government readiness, future government leadership, capacity development, digital transformation, sustainability, foresight and international partnerships aimed at advancing government performance.

Syria’s participation is part of efforts to strengthen its presence at specialized Arab forums and exchange expertise and experience in developing public administration.

The Syrian delegation is also presenting the ministry’s key approaches to implementing its administrative reform and institutional transformation program while seeking to expand cooperation with Arab and international institutions in support of institutional transformation priorities and government capacity-building.

The conference concludes Thursday with the presentation of recommendations and closing remarks.
