U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu në Ditën Ndërkombëtare të Rinisë: Kosova ka nevojë për energjinë, kreativitetin, dijen, por po ashtu edhe për guximin tuaj
Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, on International Youth Day, hosted a group of young people in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
U.D. President Haxhiu, addressing the attendees, said that I want you to see this day not only as a visit to the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, but also as an opportunity to bring your voice, energy, ideas and vision to a place where decisions are made that directly affect the lives of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
"Today, you are here from different fields and profiles, but you are united by one very important thing: each of you has chosen to do something, create something or build something. Some of you write codes and build applications, some of you deal with music, some with theater, some with film, some train every day to compete and represent our Republic. While, someone else has started a small business, with few tools but with a lot of work, with a lot of courage and with a lot of faith in what you do. There are also those of you who study, research, debate on issues related not only to your future, but also to the future of the Republic of Kosovo", said U.D. President Haxhiu.
Meanwhile, for those who came from exile, U.D. President Haxhiu said that this shows that distance does not diminish the connection with Kosovo.
"On the contrary, many of you carry Kosovo with you wherever you are through your work, your success, language, culture, but also the contribution you make. Each of you has a special story and a different path, but you all have something in common: you have everything you can give to the country. And, precisely for this reason, your presence today in an important institution like the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is very important. Today you will present your work, your talent and your successes to us, and for it is a great pleasure for us to see you and listen to you attentively", said U.D. President Haxhiu.
According to her, beyond today's presentations, it is important that the voice of young people be heard even when this day is over.
"We know that you don't always find the spaces and opportunities you need, that many good ideas wait a long time for an opportunity, and that often the road to success is harder than it should be. However, I encourage you to keep going, keep learning, working, creating, competing and building, because I am very convinced of your potential and the belief you have in yourself. And this is exactly what we should see as a society and as institutions, not only the potential of young people but also our responsibility to create the opportunity for them, so that this potential turns into success", stressed U.D. President Haxhiu.
She further said that the Republic of Kosovo was built by generations that gave a lot for freedom and the right that we today build our lives in a free and independent country.
"Your generation has a duty to make this freedom a real opportunity for every young person who wants to learn, work, create and build their future here. Our dedication must be for a Kosovo where a young man, a young woman, can have a good education, an honest job and the opportunity to move forward without having to leave the country to realize himself. A Kosovo where work and talent have weight, where merit is valued and where justice applies to all the same," said U.D. President Haxhiu.
U.D. President Haxhiu has encouraged them not to give up on their ideas even when the road ahead of them seems difficult.
"Don't be afraid, ask more from the institutions, from society and from yourself. Kosovo needs your energy, your creativity, your knowledge, but also your courage. I thank you for being here today in the Assembly, but above all I thank you for what you give to our Republic every day! Where you live, where you learn, where you create, where you compete but also where you work", emphasized U.D. President Haxhiu.

Ushtruesja e Detyrës së Presidentes së Republikës së Kosovës, Albulena Haxhiu, në Ditën Ndërkombëtare të Rinisë, ka pritur një grup të rinjsh në Kuvendin e Republikës së Kosovës. U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu, duke iu drejtuar të pranishmëve, ka thënë se dua që këtë ditë, ta shihni jo vetëm si një vizitë në Kuvendin e Republikës së Kosovës, por edhe si një mundësi për ta sjellë zërin, energjinë, idetë dhe vizionin tuaj në një vend ku merren vendime, që ndikojnë drejtpërdrejt në jetën e qytetarëve të Republikës së Kosovës. “Sot, jeni këtu nga fusha dhe profile të ndryshme, por ju bashkon një gjë shumë e rëndësishme: secili prej jush ka zgjedhur të bëjë diçka, të krijojë diçka apo të ndërtojë diçka. Dikush prej jush shkruan kode dhe ndërton aplikacione, dikush merret me muzikë, dikush me teatër, dikush me filmin, dikush stërvitet çdo ditë për të garuar dhe për të përfaqësuar Republikën tonë. Ndërsa, dikush tjetër ka nisur një biznes të vogël, me pak mjete por me shumë punë, me shumë guxim e me shumë besim në atë që bën. Ka edhe nga ju që studioni, hulumtoni, debatoni, për çështjet që lidhen jo vetëm me të ardhmen tuaj, por edhe me të ardhmen e Republikës së Kosovës”, u shpreh U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu. Ndërkaq, për ata të cilët kanë ardhur nga mërgata, U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu tha se kjo tregon se distanca nuk e zbeh lidhjen me Kosovën. “Përkundrazi, shumë prej jush e mbani Kosovën me vete kudo që jeni përmes punës suaj, suksesit tuaj, gjuhës, kulturës, por edhe kontributit që jepni. Secili prej jush ka një histori të veçantë dhe një rrugë të ndryshme, por të gjithë keni diçka të përbashkët: keni gjithçka që mund t’i jepni vendit. Dhe, pikërisht për këtë, prania juaj sot në një institucion të rëndësishëm sikur Kuvendi i Republikës së Kosovës është shumë e rëndësishme. Sot do të prezantoni punën tuaj, talentin dhe sukseset tuaja para nesh, dhe për ne është kënaqësi e madhe t’ju shohim e t’ju dëgjojmë me vëmendje”, ka pohuar U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu. Sipas saj, përtej prezantimeve të sotme është e rëndësishme që zëri i të rinjve të dëgjohet edhe atëherë kur kjo ditë do të përfundojë. “E dimë se, jo gjithmonë i gjeni hapësirat dhe mundësitë që ju nevojiten, se shumë ide të mira presin gjatë për një mundësi, dhe se shpesh rruga drejt suksesit është më e vështirë nga sa duhet të jetë. Megjithatë, ju inkurajoj që të vazhdoni, të vazhdoni të mësoni, të punoni, të krijoni, të garoni dhe të ndërtoni, sepse jam shumë e bindur në potencialin tuaj dhe në besimin që keni në vete. Dhe, kjo është pikërisht ajo që duhet ta shohim si shoqëri dhe si institucione, jo vetëm potencialin e të rinjve por edhe përgjegjësinë tonë për t’ua krijuar mundësinë, që ky potencial të shndërrohet në sukses”, theksoi U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu. Ajo më tej tha se Republika e Kosovës u ndërtua nga breza që dhanë shumë për lirinë dhe të drejtën që ne sot ndërtojmë jetën tonë në një vend të lirë e të pavarur. “Brezi juaj e ka një detyrë ta bëjë këtë liri mundësi reale për secilin të ri, që dëshiron të mësojë, të punojë, të krijojë dhe të ndërtojë të ardhmen e tij këtu. Përkushtimi ynë duhet të jetë për një Kosovë ku një i ri, një e re, mund të ketë shkollim të mirë, punë të ndershme dhe mundësi për të ecur përpara pa pasur nevojë të largohet nga vendi për të realizuar veten. Një Kosovë ku puna dhe talenti kanë peshë, ku merita vlerësohet dhe ku drejtësia vlen për të gjithë njësoj”, tha U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu. U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu, ka inkurajuar ata që të mos heqin dorë nga idetë e tyre edhe atëherë kur rruga që kanë para vetes ju duket e vështirë. “Mos keni frikë, kërkoni më shumë nga institucionet, nga shoqëria dhe nga vetja juaj. Kosova ka nevojë për energjinë tuaj, kreativitetin tuaj, për dijen, por po ashtu edhe për guximin tuaj. Ju falënderoj që jeni sot këtu në Kuvend, por mbi të gjitha ju falënderoj për atë që për çdo ditë i jepni Republikës sonë! Aty ku jetoni, ku mësoni, ku krijoni, ku garoni por edhe ku punoni”, ka theksuar U.D. Presidentja Haxhiu.
