The Vice President first delivered a speech and expressed his gratitude to the China Chamber of Commerce for serving as a very important cooperation platform between the government and industry over the years. In the process of implementing the suggestions made by enterprises, the government and the China Chamber of Commerce have always been very good partners. At the same time, I would also like to thank the Chamber of Commerce for its long-term assistance to domestic small and medium-sized enterprises, including organizing the "8th Brand Golden Ship Award" selection event, and assisting Taiwan's various industries to go global.

The Vice President said that it is the goal and belief that he and Chairman Xu share in working together to invigorate Taiwan's business environment, or to enhance the international competitiveness of Taiwan's industries. He also fully agrees with Chairman Xu's proposition that "Taiwanese people help Taiwanese people go global" and believes that everyone in different positions can achieve this goal. In the past, he was engaged in diplomatic work and served in Hualien. He saw the connection between many agricultural products, local brands and the tourism industry, which all require the joint efforts of everyone.

The Vice President pointed out that the winning team of the "Brand Brand Award" made a suggestion when they visited the Presidential Palace a few years ago. For example, when the Presidential Palace is open for tours, as long as there is a trade exhibition booth space, domestic Jinbo Award or other outstanding brand award manufacturers will be invited to participate in setting up stalls, so that various industries can have the opportunity to present the results of their efforts at the Presidential Palace. The Vice President said that President Lai has several major policy directions in the past two years, including protecting national security and democracy and freedom, strengthening the economy, and expanding social care. Taiwan's economic growth rate exceeded 14% in the first quarter of this year, which is quite rare in mature industrial countries. We also hope that the fruits of economic growth can be shared by all the people. Therefore, it is particularly important to expand social care, including long-term care and child care. Faced with the problem of declining birthrate, the government not only provides "National Raising for Children from 0 to 6 Years Old", but also launches the "Growth Allowance for Children from 0 to 18 Years Old" policy to extend support for the next generation from early childhood to teenagers.

When it comes to fighting for the economy, the Vice President said that in addition to promoting the "Top Ten New AI Constructions" so that all industries can introduce artificial intelligence, the President also has an important vision, which is to "balance Taiwan." First of all, "Balanced Taiwan" is not just a balance of geographical space. In the past, many business activities in Taiwan were concentrated in the capital, and industries and industries were concentrated in Hsinchu and other places. Now we hope that the entire Taiwan can develop in a balanced way. Therefore, the government also hopes to achieve more balanced development in various regions through the promotion of major public construction and infrastructure.

The Vice President pointed out that the second equilibrium is industry-specific equilibrium. Taiwan not only has high-tech industries, but also includes traditional industries, tourism, service industries, and even the pastry and catering industries and many other fields. Therefore, how to expand the global visibility of various industries is also the goal of "Balanced Taiwan."

The Vice President said that the third balance is to hope that not only multinational companies will have a high degree of visibility, but also small, medium and micro enterprises will have opportunities and space for development. Therefore, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has put forward many relevant plans to support small, medium and micro enterprises. The President has also proposed to prepare a budget of 100 billion yuan in eight years to support the growth of small, medium and micro enterprises, overcome obstacles and go global. He also hopes that the Legislative Yuan will support this.

The Vice President believes that as long as Taiwan's business is active and its industry and commerce develops well, the country will be better off.
