The Prime Minister, Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, directs the presence of the representatives of the vacant ministries to the Council of Ministers sessions until their ministers are named. •••••••••• Today, Thursday, the Prime Minister, Mr. Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, directed the presence of the undersecretaries of the ministries whose ministers have not yet been named at the Council of Ministers sessions, until the nomination of the ministers is completed. His Excellency authorized the undersecretaries of the Ministries of Defence, Interior, Planning, Reconstruction, Housing, Public Municipalities, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Culture, Labor and Social Affairs, Migration and Displacement, and Youth and Sports, the authority to manage the affairs of their ministries, with the exception of the exclusive powers that are presented to the minister in charge of managing the ministry by proxy. The Prime Minister stressed, during the Cabinet session held today, Thursday, that this measure comes to ensure the smooth work of the ministries, accelerate the completion of their tasks, and prevent delays in the interests of the state and citizens, stressing the need for the undersecretaries to make the utmost efforts to raise the pace of work and improve the level of performance. In light of what was proposed by a number of undersecretaries during their participation in the session, the Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities to prepare a careful study on the fourth ring road project in the capital, Baghdad.
