Damascus, Aug 12 (SANA)Syria’s Foreign MinisterAsaad Hassan al-Shaibaniheld a telephone call with Lebanese Prime MinisterNawaf Salamto discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two countries, Syria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement.

The discussions focused on serving the common interests ofSyriaandLebanonand supporting their security and stability, the ministry said.

The call also addressed the latest regional and international developments and their implications for the two countries, while emphasizing the importance of continued coordination and cooperation in addressing issues of common interest.
