ETED fortalece infraestructura de transmisión eléctrica con modernización de la subestación Samaná
Samaná.- The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) informs that this Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. m. to 4:00 p.m. m., will change the power transformer on the 138 kVSánchez – Samaná line, as part of the actions it carries out to continue strengthening the country's electrical transmission infrastructure.
During this maintenance, the electrical service will be temporarily affected in the province of Samaná.
With these actions, the ETED continues to optimize the transmission network to strengthen the operational stability of the system, increase its response capacity and support a more secure energy supply.
The ETED appreciates the understanding of citizens while carrying out these works, aimed at strengthening the reliability of the transmission system, preventing future breakdowns and offering a more efficient electrical service.
As responsible for the transportation of high voltage energy and the expansion of the National Interconnected Electrical System (SENI), the institution reaffirms its commitment as an enabler of the energy and digital transition of the Dominican Republic.
