KSrelief signs programme to rehabilitate educational, social facilities in Syria
Riyadh, August 12 (SANA)The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has signed a joint implementation programme with a civil society organization to rehabilitate educational and social facilities in Syria’s Homs, Daraa and Deir Ezzor provinces, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
Signed a day earlier, the programme includes comprehensive rehabilitation works at four schools and three social facilities, the installation of solar energy systems, and the provision of essential furniture and equipment.
According to SPA, the project forms part of the Educational Assets Rehabilitation Programme in Syria, under which 53 schools in several provinces are currently undergoing reconstruction, construction and equipping.
The programme forms part of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief efforts through KSrelief, aimed at helping restore the role of educational and social institutions in Syria.
