Kyiv, Aug. 11 (SANA)Russia carried out a missile attack on Ukraine on the night of August 10 using ballistic missiles manufactured in North Korea, Ukrainian President said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyysaid “Russia used missiles fromNorth Koreaagain in an attack against Ukraine. Ballistic missiles were used againstKyivand Zaporizhzhia from several Russian regions. Unfortunately, there are fatalities. My condolences to all those who lost loved ones. Dozens of people were injured in the strikes,” he said.

Zelenskyy added that the nighttime missile strikes were launched from Russia’s Kursk, Rostov, Oryol, and Voronezh regions.

The president emphasized that the situation in Zaporizhzhia was particularly difficult.

In addition, drone strikes of various types continued throughout the day against frontline cities and villages, from Sumy region to Kherson region.
