Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Meets the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Iraq ••••• Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met today, Tuesday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Iraq, Mr. Lee Jun-il, who delivered a written message from Korean President Lee Jae Myung congratulating the Prime Minister on the formation of the government and affirming his commitment to strengthening relations and partnership with Iraq in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two friendly countries and peoples and enables Iraq to overcome the current global economic challenges. During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of further developing bilateral relations and working together to expand cooperation across various sectors, particularly investment, energy, and technology. He affirmed Iraq’s commitment to cooperating with and benefiting from the work and expertise of Korean companies operating across the country. The Prime Minister also affirmed the government’s interest in attracting further Korean investment to Iraq, particularly in sectors where the Korean side possesses extensive expertise and which meet the needs of the Iraqi market, such as the automotive and electronics industries.
