Acting President Haxhiu received the US Senator Joni Ernst: In recognition of her engagement over the years, I bestowed on Senator Ernst the Presidential Medal of Merit
The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, received today the US Senator Joni Ernst.
Acting President Haxhiu said that Senator Ernst is a proven friend of Kosovo and an important voice in support of the partnership between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America.
Acting President Haxhiu and Senator Ernst discussed current political developments in Kosovo, security issues and the importance of continuing close cooperation with the United States.
“In recognition of her engagement over the years, I bestowed on Senator Ernst the Presidential Medal of Merit, for her valuable contribution to the strengthening of the Kosovo-US partnership and supporting the development of the defense capacities of the Republic of Kosovo,” said Acting President Haxhiu.
The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, said that Kosovo will continue to build its future alongside the United States, strengthening a partnership that has special strategic and historical importance for our country.
