It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Miss Jourdanne Loze, a dedicated educator whose decades of service with the Ministry of Education helped shape generations of Seychellois.

Across several schools, Miss Loze served with distinction as teacher, Head of Department and Head Teacher, bringing to each role the same discipline, care and commitment to excellence. Her contribution to education went far beyond the classroom; she helped mould the character and potential of countless young minds, leaving a lasting imprint on our society.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles, and on my own behalf, I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family, former students and colleagues.

May Miss Joudanne rest in eternal peace, and may her legacy of nurturing young minds continue to inspire our nation’s educators for years to come
