Approximately 5,000 students from 22 countries competed in the international selection to join the expedition. Among the contestants is Ezoza Beshimjanova from Uzbekistan.

The 10-day expedition will enable schoolchildren to explore the Arctic’s environment, see a nuclear-powered icebreaker in action, and understand the role of nuclear energy and modern technologies in Arctic shipping. They will also bring their countries’ flags to the North Pole.

An educational program has been organized for schoolchildren, featuring lectures, masterclasses, scientific experiments, discussions, career guidance, and creative activities. International experts in science, energy, medicine, and technology will also collaborate with the participants.

A notable participant in the expedition is acclaimed Russian science fiction author Sergey Lukyanenko. He will lead a creative workshop where schoolchildren will collaborate with him to develop a science fiction story.

Ezoza Beshimjanova from Uzbekistan shared that she believes everyone should experience at least one journey that shifts their usual view of the world. For her, this transformative journey is a trip to the North Pole.
