Vladimir Putin took part, via videoconference, in an opening ceremony for the Yermakovsky Mining and Processing Plant With a planned capacity of up to 30,000 tonnes of ore per year, the new plant is located at the strategic Yermakovskoye beryllium-fluorite deposit. The beryllium produced by the plant is essential for high-tech industries, including aircraft manufacturing, space technology, nuclear reactors, navigation systems, and X-ray equipment.
