The Purchase of Learning Books

In February 2026, the Republic of Suriname issued a Social Bond to finance eligible social expenditures and priority social projects.

The Ministry of Finance and Planning (Employer), for the benefit of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the purchase of learning books under the Priority Social Projects Program.

Supply and delivery of schoolbooks as specified in Section VI – Schedule of Requirements of the bidding document. Lots include:

Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures, in accordance with internationally recognized procurement practices and Suriname's Social Projects Procurement Framework (Feb 2026).

Pre-Bid Meeting and Clarifications

A pre-Bid meeting will be held on 21 August 2026 at 9:00 a.m. SRT. Details will be provided in the bidding document. Requests for clarification must be submitted in writing to the Employer no later than 26 August 2026. Responses will be shared with all interested bidders to ensure transparency.

All documentation must be submitted inEnglish.
