Occupied Jerusalem, Aug. 10 (SANA)Several Palestinians were injured by Israeli forces’ fire in theGaza Stripand Nablus on Monday, while 19 Palestinians were arrested during raids across the West Bank, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

WAFA reported that several civilians were injured early Monday afterIsraeli forcesopened fire in Jabalia town, north of the Gaza Strip. It added that Israeli artillery shelled several areas in Khan Younis, al-Bureij and Beit Lahia.

In theWest Bank, a Palestinian young man was injured by shrapnel from Israeli forces’ gunfire during a raid on Balata refugee camp east ofNablus. The forces searched homes amid heavy gunfire and arrested five young men during the operation.

Israeli forces also arrested 10 civilians from Marah Rabah village south ofBethlehem, three Palestinians in Jenin and a former detainee in Aboud village north of Ramallah.

Medical sources said Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip had risen to 73,386 Palestinians killed, with 174,250 injured, since Oct. 7, 2023.
