Damascus, Aug. 9 (SANA)Interior Minister Anas Khattab chaired a working session with theCounter-Terrorism Departmenton Sunday, in the presence of his Deputy for Security Affairs Brig. Gen. Mulham al-Shentout, as part of ongoing monitoring and evaluation of security performance.

The meeting reviewed workflow, discussed difficulties and challenges facing the department, and examined efforts to carry out assigned tasks to ensure the highest levels of readiness.

At the end of the meeting, theministerpresented a commemorative shield in appreciation of the department’s achievements and its contribution to maintaining the country’s security and stability.
