It is with profound sadness that I learned of the passing of Dr. Valentina Seth, a cherished colleague and exceptional paediatrician whose life was defined by compassion, humility and unwavering service to others.

For countless Seychellois families, she represented reassurance, hope and healing during life's most vulnerable moments. She devoted her career to the wellbeing of our nation's children, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues, patients and the wider community alike.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Seth lived a life anchored in faith and service. Through her leadership within the Brahma Kumariscommunity, she inspired many through her quiet example of peace, selflessness and respect for the dignity of every individual.

Her legacy lives on in the generations of children she cared for, the families she comforted, and the professionals she mentored.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Seychelles, and on my own behalf, I extend my deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, colleagues, and the Brahma Kumaris community.
