Ózd város biztonságos vízellátását egy 500-as és egy 600-as távvezeték üzemeltetésével oldják meg. Az 500-as távvezetéken rejtett, de nagymérvű hiba keletkezett, ezért ki kellett zárni a szolgáltatásból, ezáltal az ózdi ivóvíztároló medencék töltése ellehetetlenült. A 600-as vezeték átszakaszolva kisebb mennyiséggel üzemel. A hiba elhárítását megkezdték. A BM Országos Katasztrófavédelmi Főigazgatóság jelentése szerint 9 erdő- és vegetációtűzről érkezett bejelentés. A lövedékek elszállítása érdekében 2026. augusztus 07-én 05.20 óra, és 06.26 óra között teljes zárásra került sor a Budapest, XI. kerület területén a Műegyetem rakparton, Raoul Wallenberg rakparton, Valdemar és Nina Langlet rakparton, Henryk Sławik rakparton, továbbá I. kerület területén Friedrich Born rakparton a Döbrentei tértől a XI. kerület irányába.
