ETED realizará mantenimiento correctivo en línea de transmisión de la región Sur
SantoDomingo.-The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) informs that today, Friday, August 7, from 9:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon, it will carry out corrective maintenance work on the towers of the 69 kV transmission line Cabral – Duvergé crossing, aimed at reinforcing the technical conditions of this infrastructure and advancing in the consolidation of a more resilient, efficient and prepared transmission network for the new challenges of the sector. electric.
To guarantee the safe execution of these tasks, it will be necessary to interrupt the electrical service in the municipality of Jimaní, Independencia province. Temporarily, the circuits that supply energy to Neiba and Las Damas, belonging to the Bahoruco province; Salinas, belonging to the Barahona province; as well as the company Khoury Industrial.
With these actions, the ETED continues to optimize the transmission network to strengthen the operational stability of the system, increase its response capacity and support a safer and more efficient energy supply, in line with its role as an enabler of the energy and digital transition of the Dominican Republic.
The ETED appreciates the citizens' understanding of the temporary inconveniences that these works may cause, reiterating that these interventions are essential to guarantee a more robust, modern transmission infrastructure prepared to respond to the country's energy needs.
