Lebanese soldier injured in Israeli strike on army bulldozer in Tyre
Beirut, 7 Aug. (SANA)A Lebanese soldier was injured on Friday after Israeli occupation forces targeted a Lebanese Army bulldozer in the town ofal-Mansouri in Tyre districtwhile it was clearing roads and removing rubble.The Lebanese Army said in a statement published on the X platform that the bulldozer came under attack while carrying out its assigned mission, resulting in the injury of one soldier.Lebanese Army units had entered al-Mansouri overnight and begun reopening roads blocked by recent Israeli airstrikes, while also working to facilitate the return of residents displaced by the Israeli aggression.Four people were injured on Wednesday as a result of intensive Israeli airstrikes on the Tyre district in southern Lebanon.Meanwhile,the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL)announced that, while monitoring daily violations of Lebanese airspace and military activities on the ground, it had recorded the firing of 113 shells by the Israeli army, marking the highest number recorded since 21 June.
