The parties discussed prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector.

Special attention was paid to increasing mutual tourist flows, expanding cooperation between tour operators and airlines, and implementing joint investment and marketing projects.

In addition, the participants reviewed initiatives to organize professional development and experience-exchange programs for Uzbekistan hotel industry specialists in Istanbul and Antalya. Prospects for developing educational, scientific, and practical cooperation with Cappadocia University were also discussed.

Following the negotiations, agreements were reached to strengthen the partnership among tourism organizations, tour operators, airlines, educational institutions, and travel agencies of the two countries. The parties also expressed interest in pursuing joint investment projects, industry forums, and B2B meetings.

Following the meeting, the Turkish side received an invitation to participate in the International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road”, to be held in Tashkent in November 2026.
