Damascus, Aug. 7 (SANA)Minister of Emergency and Disasters ManagementRaed al-Salehconfirmed on Thursday that ministry response teams were deployed following a bombing that targeted a passenger bus inJaramanain theDamascus countryside.Initial reports indicated that seven people were injured. TheDamascus Countryside Health Directoratelater announced that the final toll had risen to 14 injuries, confirming that no fatalities were recorded.In a post on the X platform, al-Saleh said, “These tragic incidents will not deter Syrians from continuing their path of reconstruction and recovery, nor from bolstering security and stability.”He stressed that Syria would remain strong and steadfast as it moves confidently toward a safer and more prosperous future, drawing strength from the will of its people, the unity of its citizens, and their unwavering resolve to overcome all challenges.
