Damascus, Aug. 7 (SANA)Minister of Foreign Affairs and ExpatriatesAsaad Hassan al- Shaibaniaffirmed that the bombing inJaramana, Damascus Countryside, on Thursday, along with attempts to target civilians and undermine security and stability, will not deter Syrians from continuing the path of recovery and state-building.In a post on his official X account, Minister al- Shaibani said that state institutions will continue to fulfill their duty to protect citizens, pursue those responsible for the bombing, and bring them to justice.

Earlier, an explosive device detonated inside a passenger bus in Jaramana. The Directorate of Referral, Ambulance, and Emergency Services at theMinistry of Healthconfirmed that the blast caused injuries.Civil Defense teamslater reopened the affected road to traffic after clearing the site and removing debris.
