Acting President Haxhiu: Dua Lipa has made Kosovo part of her public narrative wherever she has been present
The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has said that Dua Lipa has made Kosovo part of her public narrative wherever she has been present.
According to her, Sunny Hill was born from this connection and from her desire to bring to Prishtina artists with whom she shares the world’s biggest stages.
“For young Albanian artists, the festival is one of the rare opportunities to appear in front of such a large and diverse audience. Meanwhile, thousands of people from different countries travel to Prishtina precisely for Sunny Hill. For many of them, the festival is also the first direct encounter with Kosovo, the city and its people. Few cultural events have given Kosovo so much resonance abroad and brought it closer to a wide international audience,” said Acting President Haxhiu.
The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, congratulated Dua Lipa and the entire Sunny Hill team for this edition and thanked the artists, the audience and everyone who worked on and behind the scenes to make these three nights in Prishtina possible.
