Four injured in Ukrainian drone attack on Russian oil refinery

Moscow, Aug. 6 (SANA)Four people were injured on Thursday after a fire broke out at an oil refinery in Russia’s Yaroslavl region following aUkrainian drone attack, regional authorities said.

Yaroslavl Governor Mikhail Evrayev said on Telegram that the region had come under what he described as its “largest drone attack” to date, adding that Russian air defenses intercepted all 93 Ukrainian drones involved in the attack.

According to Evrayev, falling drone debris left four people with shrapnel wounds and damaged storage tanks at the refinery, causing a fire.

He said it was the largest drone attack on the Yaroslavl region since the conflict began.

Earlier on Thursday, Ukrainian authorities said six people were killed and dozens injured inRussian strikestargeting several areas across Ukraine.
