Appointment of Deputy Registrar General - Ms Vivienne Confiance
The Office of the President has today announced the appointment of Ms Vivienne Confiance as Deputy Registrar General.
Ms Confiance brings to the position over two decades of professional experience in the legal, regulatory and public sectors. She has served as a Legal Officer at the Central Bank of Seychelles since 2018, where she has provided legal advice, reviewed legislation and policy documents, represented the Bank in national and international forums, and contributed to strengthening the country's legal and regulatory framework. Prior to this, she held several senior legal positions at the Seychelles Revenue Commission, including Director of Legal Advice, where she played a key role in legislative reform, international tax cooperation and legal proceedings.
Ms Confiance holds a Master of Laws (LLM) with Merit in Banking and Finance Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London. She has also completed numerous professional certifications in anti-money laundering, governance, contract management and financial regulation, and has represented Seychelles on various regional and international legal and regulatory bodies.
Her appointment is effective from 1st August 2026.
