In March, we deployed an RSAF aircraft to bring Singaporeans home from the Middle East, after commercial flights were no longer an option. Nisar and his family were among those on board. During the flight, he wrote a moving letter about their experience. I had the opportunity to meet Nisar and his family recently, and to hear firsthand what they had gone through. Their story is a powerful reminder that, in times of crisis, we will always look after one another.
