ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුද හමුදාවේ 26වන යුද හමුදාපතිවරයා වශයෙන් පත් වූ ලුතිනන් ජෙනරාල් නිලන්ත ප්‍රේමරත්න මහතා සමඟ හමුවකට අද (05) පස්වරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේදී එක්වීමි. මෙහිදී ඒ මහතා සමඟ සුහද කතාබහකට එක් වෙමින් ධුරයේ ඉදිරි කටයුතු වෙනුවෙන් සුබපැතුම් එක් කළෙමි. இலங்கை இராணுவத்தின் 26 ஆவது இராணுவத் தளபதியாக நியமிக்கப்பட்ட லெப்டினன்ட் ஜெனரல் நிலந்த பிரேமரத்னவை, இன்று (05) பிற்பகல் ஜனாதிபதி அலுவலகத்தில் சந்தித்தேன். இதன்போது அவருடன் சுமுகமான உரையாடலில் ஈடுபட்டதுடன், எதிர்காலப் பணிகளுக்காக வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்தேன். I met with Lieutenant General Nilantha Premaratne, who was appointed as the 26th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (05). During the meeting, I engaged in a cordial discussion with Lieutenant General Premarathne and extended my best wishes for the successful discharge of his duties in his new capacity.
