Damascus, Aug. 5 (SANA)Syria’s Ministry of Local Administration and Environment announced on Wednesday the reinstatement of all employees who were dismissed from their positions due to their participation in the Syrian revolution.

Minister of Local Administration and EnvironmentMohammad Anjaranisaid during a press conference that returning the employees to their jobs was an “ethical and national responsibility,” adding that their experience and expertise would contribute to Syria’s rebuilding efforts.

Anjarani said the ministry had adopted an institutional approach based on reviewing employees’ qualifications and professional experience to determine suitable positions where they could perform effectively and contribute to the work of their respective directorates.

Several Syrian ministries are continuing to receive applications from employees who lost their jobs due to their participation in the Syrian revolution as part of procedures to facilitate their return to work.

On July 9, the Ministry of Agriculture issued a decision to reinstate employees dismissed over their participation in the Syrian revolution across the ministry’s central administration and affiliated bodies, including both permanent and contract employees.F.J./ABD
