President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, accompanied by First Lady Sajidha Mohamed, arrived in AA. Ukulhas to attend the closing session of the Small Island Developing States (SIDS) Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) Symposium and the opening ceremony of the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI) Global Summit.

Upon arrival, they were welcomed by members of the Ukulhas Island Council, heads of institutions, and residents of the island. Joining the President and the First Lady on the visit are Cabinet Ministers, senior Government officials, and representatives of state-owned enterprises.

During the visit, President Dr Muizzu is scheduled to meet with the Ukulhas Island Council and the Women’s Development Committee (WDC). He will also attend several events related to Government development projects on the island and initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of its residents.
