Participants include heads and specialists from the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the Ministry, the training program aims to strengthen professional knowledge, increase managerial potential, and study international best practices in water resources management. Participants will become acquainted with China’s state policy on water management, advanced technologies and innovative solutions for effective water resources management, and experiences in gender development and in improving women’s leadership potential. Reports, practical classes, and meetings with experts in the field were organized.

The classes were organized by the CAREC Institute, with assistance from the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Asian Development Bank, and Chinese partner organizations.
