Ankara, Aug. 4 (SANA)Türkiye has intensified its diplomatic outreach across the Middle East, with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan holding a series of phone calls with regional and international counterparts over the past four days as Ankara seeks to promote de-escalation and regional stability.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan spoke with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on July 31 to discuss the latest regional developments and efforts to end ongoing conflicts.

On Aug. 1, Fidan held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, focusing on the status of negotiations and ways to support regional stability.

On Aug. 3, Fidan spoke with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah about developments in the region. In a separate call, he and British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband discussed the situation in the Middle East, particularly in the Gaza Strip, as well as the war in Ukraine and international diplomatic efforts to resolve ongoing conflicts.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has repeatedly reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing regional tensions and supporting negotiations between Iran and the United States as part of broader efforts to promote peace and stability.
