The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan G. Nasirov, heads of the committee’s relevant structural divisions, and representatives of the Pakistani delegation.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed the development of cooperation in the customs sphere, the introduction of modern customs administration, and the resumption of the exchange of customs statistics on mutual trade.
The operation of Pakistan’s Single Window system was reviewed, and the use of electronic GPS seals during transit was examined.
Particular attention was paid to studying advanced practices in artificial intelligence, risk management, and behavioral analysis.
During the meeting, the Pakistani delegation praised the activities of the Targeting and Risk Management Center.
The intensification of digital transformation in the customs sphere was also a key focus of the meeting.
The importance of expanding cooperation for the widespread introduction of advanced information technologies, the timely identification and analysis of risks, the security of transit transportation, and the automation of customs procedures was emphasized.
