Doha, Aug. 3 (SANA)Qatar, Egypt and Türkiye, as mediator states, expressed their strong condemnation of Israel’s ongoing violations in theGazaStrip, particularly the targeting of health facilities and the killing of civilians, which constitute a flagrant violation ofinternationalandhumanitarian law, according to a joint statement published by Qatar’s Foreign Ministry on X.

The joint statement stressed the importance of Israel’s adherence to its commitments under the ceasefire agreement, especially following the start of the second phase announced by US President Donald Trump, which includes the disarmament of the Strip in conjunction with the withdrawal of Israeli forces.

The statement renewed the importance of ensuring full protection for civilians, medical facilities and humanitarian workers, and securing the unimpeded delivery ofhumanitarian aidand medical supplies to all areas of the Strip.

The joint statement called on theinternational communityto assume its responsibilities and pressure Israel to fulfill its obligations under international law and the ceasefire agreement, ensuring the full implementation of President Trump’s peace plan.

On July 31, President Trump announced an agreement to implement a new phase of his plan to end the war in Gaza, including the disarmament of the Strip in conjunction with the withdrawal of Israeli forces, describing it as an essential step toward peace, security and the transfer of administration to a new Palestinian government working in coordination with the Gaza Peace Council.

The Gaza Peace Council earlier announced thatHamashad agreed to a roadmap for implementing the next phases of the ceasefire, aimed at applying Trump’s vision for a new administration, ensuring security and humanitarian protection, and reconstruction andeconomic recoveryin Gaza, in line with the comprehensive peace plan and Security Council Resolution 2803.
