Infotep y la Superintendencia de Electricidad certifican por competencias a 300 técnicos electricistas
Barahona.-The National Institute of Professional Technical Training (Infotep) certified 300 technicians in the electrical sector for labor competencies, after concluding the evaluation process in the area of basic installation of low and medium voltage networks.
With this initiative, Infotepre affirms its commitment to strengthening human talent and developing an increasingly qualified workforce, contributing to raising productivity, quality and safety in a strategic activity for the economic and social development of the country.
On behalf of the general director of Infotep, Maira Morla Pineda, the director of Vocational Training, Luis Beltré, highlighted that this process constitutes the official recognition of the knowledge, skills and abilities that workers have acquired through their experience, giving them a value that strengthens their professional profile and generates greater confidence in the productive sector.
"This certification not only validates what you know how to do; it also strengthens your employability, increases companies' confidence in their abilities and allows them to demonstrate, with the support of Infotep, that they have the necessary skills to carry out highly responsible work," said Beltré.
The director of Professional Training pointed out that competency certification constitutes a strategic tool to increase productivity and consolidate a culture of quality and safety in the electrical sector, where the preparation of human talent is decisive in guaranteeing a reliable service to the population.
The certification recognized the competencies of collaborators of the companies Almonte Ingeniería y Tecnología, Atal Caribe, S. A., Delmar, S. A., IngmelecDominicana, C.porA. and Sanel, S. A., who demonstrated the competencies required to perform their functions in accordance with the standards established by Infotep.
The delivery of certificates and licenses took place during the sixteenth day organized by the Superintendence of Electricity (SIE), in an event held in the Antonio Méndez Auditorium, of the Barahona Campus of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD).
The activity was headed by the Superintendent of Electricity, Andrés Astacio; the director of Professional Training of Infotep, Luis Beltré, representing the general director Maira Morla Pineda; the members of the Board of Directors of the Superintendency of Electricity (SIE), Aura Caraballo and Sergio Grullón; the institution's advisor, DiógenesRodríguez, and the general manager of Sanel, Néstor Montero.
Also participating were Daniel Durán García, Operations Manager of Ingmelec Dominicana; the South regional deputy director of Infotep, Elvis Céspedes; the regional director of Protecom, Emilio Saviñón, as well as representatives of companies in the electrical sector and special guests.
