Bienes Nacionales recauda más de RD 57 millones en segunda subasta pública del año
National District.-The General Directorate of National Assets raised RD 57,305,000 during the second public auction of this year, in which 123 cases and 61 lots of transferable vehicles, vehicle bodies, furniture, motorcycles for parts and parts, as well as scrap metal were offered.
The activity was held in the auditorium of the Police Institute of Higher Education (IPES), with the participation of dozens of speakers.
The person in charge of the Auction Department, Mr. Nelson Gómez, reported that the cases and lots offered were downloaded from different public institutions and are available in the warehouses of the General Directorate of National Assets, located on Mella Highway and in Merca Santo Domingo.
He explained that, to participate in the auction, the interested parties made a payment of RD 2,000.00 in the Collections Department as an admission fee and formalized their registration in the Department of National Asset Auctions, located on Fray Cipriano de Utrera Street No. 1, Centro de los Héroes (La Feria).
Likewise, he recalled that the successful bidders will have five business days, counted from the date of the auction, to make full payment of the cases purchased by means of a certified check in the name of the National Treasury.
Likewise, they will have five additional business days to remove the goods from the corresponding warehouses.
The auction was chaired by the deputy director general of National Assets, José Moya Mejía, representing the general director of National Assets and honorary executive director of the State Sugar Council (CEA), Dr. Rafael Burgos Gómez.
The process was developed through a public proclamation and included the participation of a public vendor, representatives of the Justipricing Commission, made up of the General Directorate of National Assets, the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) and the Comptroller General of the Republic, as well as a public notary and other competent authorities, in the interest of guaranteeing transparency, legality and strict compliance with the rules that govern public auctions and the institutional processes carried out by the entity.
