Syria’s chargé d’affaires discusses cultural cooperation with Saudi library’s CEO
Riyadh, Aug. 3 (SANA)Syria’s Chargé d’Affaires inSaudi Arabia, Mohsen Mahbash, visited King Fahad National Library on Monday, where he met with its Acting CEO Faisal al-Hamoudi and discussed ways to enhance joint cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Mahbash received a briefing on the library’s key cultural and scientific activities, its valuable knowledge treasures and the services it offers to visitors and patrons.
The King Fahad National Library, established in 1989, is Saudi Arabia’s premier national library and a leading cultural institution in the region. It houses a vast collection of manuscripts, rare books and digital resources, and serves as a center forculturaland scientific exchange.
The visit reflects growing cultural and diplomatic engagement between Syria and Saudi Arabia, with both countries seeking to strengthen cooperation across various sectors.
