The Defense Working Group decided on Sunday that there is no need to order a mandatory energy consumption restriction for the time being. This is due to the fact that so far more than three hundred companies have announced that they will voluntarily limit their energy consumption, with a total of 400 MW, and another 270 companies are expected to join the circle of responsible, self-limiting companies. MÁV stops rail freight transport on Mondays and Tuesdays between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. The population throughout the country played a big role in frugal consumption, and the government thanks them for their responsible behavior and cooperation.
The most critical days due to the heat and drought are still ahead of us, so the government is asking Hungarian large consumers, state and private companies, local governments and people to cooperate even more disciplined than before. MAVIR, which is responsible for managing the electricity network, monitors the load on the network minute by minute, and if justified, the government can order restrictions on large consumers at any time.
The complete shutdown of the Paks Power Plant was not necessary for the time being. Depending on the level of the Danube, the management of the power plant will decide and provide information in accordance with strict safety regulations. After shutting down the power plant, the power plant switches to the required cooling procedure in order to fully guarantee nuclear safety.
The experts do not expect such an amount of precipitation in the Danube catchment area for the next few days that would enable the Paks Power Plant to restart at full capacity in the short term. Therefore, it is still justified to reschedule the use of electricity from the late afternoon and early evening hours, be it the use of air conditioners or the charging of electric cars.
The dramatic drought situation also poses significant challenges to Hungary's water supply, and here too the cooperation of the population can be seen: this can also be seen in the decrease in water consumption. At the same time, in those settlements where water restrictions are in force, it is in the common interest of the residents to reduce water consumption, postpone car washing and filling pools. Where there are supply problems, the population is supplied with drinking water with the help of the Disaster Management and the National Defense.
In the coming days, the heat will reach its peak, peak temperatures of around forty degrees are expected across the country. Let's look after each other, especially children, the elderly, the sick and those who live alone.

Egyelőre nem szükséges korlátozni az ipari felhasználók áramfogyasztását A Védelmi Munkacsoport vasárnap úgy döntött, hogy egyelőre nincs szükség kötelező energiafogyasztási korlátozás elrendelésére. Ez annak köszönhető, hogy eddig több mint háromszáz vállalat jelentette be, hogy önként korlátozza energiafogyasztását, összesen 400 MW-tal, és várható további 270 cég csatlakozása a felelős, önkorlátozó cégek köréhez. A MÁV hétfőn és kedden 17 és 22 óra között leállítja a vasúti teherszállítást. A takarékos fogyasztásban nagy szerepe volt a lakosságnak is országszerte, a kormány megköszöni a felelős magatartást, az összefogást. A hőség és a szárazság miatti legkritikusabb napok még előttünk vannak, ezért az eddiginél is fegyelmezettebb együttműködésre kéri a kormány a magyarországi nagyfogyasztókat, állami és magáncégeket, az önkormányzatokat és az embereket. A villamosenergia-hálózat irányításáért felelős MAVIR percről percre figyeli a hálózat terhelését, és ha indokolt, a kormány bármikor elrendelhet korlátozásokat a nagyfogyasztóknál. A Paksi Erőmű teljes leállítására egyelőre nem volt szükség. Erről a Duna apadásának függvényében, a szigorú biztonsági előírások betartásával az erőmű vezetése dönt, és ad majd tájékoztatást. Az erőmű leállítását követően az erőmű átáll az előírt hűtési eljárásra a nukleáris biztonság teljes körű garantálása érdekében. A szakemberek a következő napokra nem várnak olyan mennyiségű csapadékot a Duna vízgyűjtő területén, ami rövid távon lehetővé tenné a Paksi Erőműben a teljes kapacitású újraindítást. Ezért továbbra is indokolt az áramfelhasználás átütemezése a késő délutáni, kora esti órákról, legyen szó a klímaberendezések használatáról vagy az elektromos gépkocsik töltéséről. A drámai aszályhelyzet Magyarország vízellátását is jelentős kihívások elé állítja, és itt is látszik a lakosság együttműködése: ez a vízfogyasztás csökkenésén is meglátszik. Ugyanakkor azokon a településeken, ahol vízkorlátozás van érvényben, közös érdek, hogy az ott élők fogják vissza a vízfogyasztást, halasszák el az autómosást, medencék feltöltését. Ahol ellátási problémák vannak, ott a Katasztrófavédelem és a Honvédség segítségével látják el a lakosságot ivóvízzel. A következő napokban a hőség eléri a csúcsát, negyven fok körüli csúcshőmérsékletek várhatóak országszerte. Figyeljünk egymásra, elsősorban a gyerekekre, az idősekre, a betegekre és az egyedül élőkre.
