Damascus, Aug. 2 (SANA) TheMedica Scope 2026international medical exhibition opened inDamascuson Sunday, bringing together 114 local, Arab and international companies and institutions to showcase the latest advances in medical technology, pharmaceuticals and healthcare services.

Held under the patronage of theMinistry of Healthat the Damascus Fairgrounds, the exhibition runs through Aug. 5 and features medical simulation platforms, interactive workshops, specialized seminars and displays of advanced medical equipment and technologies.

The event, organized by Guarantee for Consulting, Exhibitions and Conferences, includes participation from companies specializing in pharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare supplies, alongside scientific forums addressing hospital management, integrated healthcare and other industry topics.

Mudar Hassan Amin, executive director and co-founder of Guarantee, said the exhibition marks the company’s first event in Syria.

He said exhibitors from Jordan, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and China are taking part, describing the accompanying scientific sessions as an opportunity for healthcare professionals to exchange expertise and share successful medical experiences.

The exhibition aims to strengthen cooperation among healthcare providers, manufacturers and medical suppliers while giving specialists access to the latest medical technologies and developments.

Organizers said the event is intended to promote professional networking, knowledge exchange and investment opportunities across Syria’s healthcare sector.
