Every year on the first Sunday of August, we congratulate our soldiers of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Professional Day and thank them for their protection. To our pilots, air defense soldiers, mobile fire groups, anti-aircraft guns, radio technical units, engineers and everyone who does their job so that Ukraine is stronger. Thousands of sorties, thousands of targets shot down, and thanks to this, thousands of lives saved. During the war, our Air Force became much stronger. We received modern combat aircraft, effective air defense systems. Such systems are still not enough to cover our entire sky from Russian missiles, but today the Ukrainian air shield is already one of the strongest in Europe. And it is thanks to the professionalism and experience of our soldiers, who have proven it more than once, intercepting the most difficult targets even in conditions of shortage of one or another equipment. Thank you to everyone who protects our sky and does everything every day to keep Ukrainians safe. And we will always honor the memory of all our people who gave their lives defending Ukraine. Eternal memory to the heroes. Glory to our soldiers! Glory to Ukraine!
