Quneitra, Aug. 1 (SANA)Israeli occupation forces advanced on Saturday into the village of al-Ajraf in the northern countryside ofQuneitraprovince.

AnIsraeli occupationforce consisting of five military vehicles entered the village, set up a checkpoint on the main road and searched passersby. The forces also installed a large surveillance camera at one of the sites before withdrawing from the area, SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra said.

Earlier on Saturday, Israeli occupation forces advanced into the Wadi al-Raqqad area in the western countryside of Daraa. A force consisting of six military vehicles established a temporary checkpoint on the Wadi al-Raqqad bridge and searched a residential house before withdrawing without making any arrests.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, arrests, land bulldozing and artillery shelling.
