Aleppo, Aug.1 (SANA)The first flight of theTurkish airline “SunExpress,” arrived Saturday atAleppoInternational Airport, coming from the city of Antalya, marking the launch of regular air services between the two cities.

TheSyrian Civil Aviation Authoritysaid via its Telegram channel that the commencement of “SunExpress” flights between Antalya and Aleppo represents a new step toward restoring regular air traffic between the two cities.

The operation of this route comes within the framework of efforts aimed at enhancing air transport and expanding the network of connections between Syria and several regional destinations, which contributes to facilitating passenger travel and supporting both tourism and economic activities.
