ETED fortalece la infraestructura de transmisión con trabajos estratégicos en líneas de transmisión este viernes
Monsignor Nouel.- The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) reports that this Friday, July 31, it will carry out maintenance work on two transmission lines, as part of its continuous improvement program for the electrical infrastructure, with the aim of strengthening the reliability of the service and guaranteeing safer and more efficient operation of the National Interconnected Electrical System (SENI).
On the 69 kV Bonao 2–Hatillo transmission line, the replacement of structures due to deterioration will be carried out, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. m. to 3:00 p.m. m. During the execution of these works and for safety reasons, the Edenorte circuits CT-116018 and CT-173846 will be out of service, which will affect the supply of electrical energy in the communities La Cumbre, Rancho Arriba, Maimón, Centro de Maimón, Bella Vista, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Buenos Aires, La Sabana, Los Coquitos, El Copey, Los Martínez, La Piñita, La Atalaya, Loma Mala and Llagal, belonging to the Monseñor Nouel province, as well as the companies Cormidom and Cormidom II.
Also, from 6:00 a.m. m. to 9:00 a.m. m., an emergency opening will be carried out on the 69 kV San Juan II–Las Matas–Elías Piña transmission line, with the purpose of normalizing the interconnection of the Pedro Corto Solar Park and facilitating scheduled work on that renewable generation facility.
As a consequence of this intervention, the electrical service in the Elías Piñay province and in the Las Matas de Farfán municipality, belonging to the San Juan province, as well as in the Domingo Rodríguez Hydroelectric Power Plant will be temporarily affected.
The ETED appreciates the understanding of citizens while carrying out these works, aimed at strengthening the reliability of the transmission system, preventing future breakdowns and offering a more efficient electrical service.
As responsible for the transportation of high voltage energy and the expansion of the National Interconnected Electrical System (SENI), the institution reaffirms its commitment as an enabler of the energy and digital transition of the Dominican Republic.

Como consecuencia de esta intervención,se verá afectado temporalmente el servicio eléctricoen la provinciaElías Piñay en el municipioLas Matas de Farfán, perteneciente a la provincia San Juan, así como en la Central Hidroeléctrica Domingo Rodríguez. La ETED agradece lacomprensión de la ciudadaníamientras desarrolla estos trabajos, destinados a fortalecer la confiabilidad del sistema de transmisión,prevenir averías futuras y ofrecer un servicio eléctrico más eficiente.
