Palestinians injured, others detained in Israeli raids across West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, July 31 (SANA)Several Palestinians were injured and others detained on Friday during Israeli military raids and settler attacks in multiple areas of theWest Bank,according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.WAFA reported that settlers, escorted by Israeli forces, entered al-Junaid village west of Nablus, where live fire and tear gas were used, injuring one young man and causing others to suffer breathing difficulties.Israeli occupation forces and settlers also raided several areas around Nablus, including neighbourhoods in the city, Tell town to the south and Salem village to the east, detaining sevenPalestinians, according to WAFA.
Separately,Israeli forcesdetained three Palestinians during raids in Wadi Shaheen in central Bethlehem, Anabta town east of Tulkarm and Qaddoura refugee camp in Ramallah. Several other young men were held for hours during raids in areas of Salfit, WAFA reported.The latest incidents came a day after one Palestinian was injured and others detained during Israeli operations in the West Bank. Six Palestinians were also killed and 10 others injured in Israeli strikes on areas of the Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to Palestinian officials.
